What is LCAP?

The Local Control Accountability Plan(LCAP) is a required component of the Local Control Funding Formula provided by the state of California to local school districts. The LCAP plan is to be written and developed with feedback and input from community stakeholder groups.  Stakeholders will be asked to provide input on eight different components of the LCAP plan. This website will post meeting documents and feedback throughout the LCAP development process.

2017 LCAP Annual Update

2017-18 Local Control Accountability Plan (LACP) Committee Meetings will take place in the August Boeger Library (1944 Flint Ave.).  

  Time:  5 PM to 7 PM.  Dinner and Babysitting is provided.

Meetings are open to all parents, teachers, and community members of the Mount Pleasant School District.

Every meeting will have opportunities to have collaborative discussions, share feedback and recommendations for improvement.

  • December 1, 2017 - Review process for LCAP Annual Renewal and Review Goal 1, review achievement results, provide

    recommendations for improvement, share out and discuss.

  • Jan. 17, Continue with Goal 1.  Staff development, teacher support, curriculum and teacher quality.
  • Jan. 22, Focus on LCAP Goals 2 & 3.
  • Feb. 12 Focus on LCAP Goals 4 & 5
  • April 16, share/discuss changes to action items or budget
  • May 24, Review LCAP final draft
  • June 13, LCAP goes to the board for a public hearing for the first time
  • June 27, LCAP goes to Board for public hearing and adoption including budget adoption.
